Four short stories happening on the same day in Singapore, China, Japan and Thailand, from 5pm to 9am during the 2014 World Cup.

5 to 9 is an omnibus project by four Asian filmmakers addressing the changing social political situations shaping their home country today. As a collective, they aim to portray the other side of the ‘emerging Asia’. The filmmakers were all members of the 2014 class of the Berlinale Talents.
